The purpose of this article is to provide background resources for my talk on “Collecting and Presenting Data.”

  • To start you’ll need “MA_OUTPUT_1003.csv” – email me for a copy
  • Download “aje_template.pot“

Tasks

  1. Replicate the following slide: aje_data_chart.pdf
  2. Create a database that compares MA with UK Industrial Production (hint: use series CKYW)
  3. Create a chart comparing MA and IP (see below)
