Library access

I’m still searching for the perfect library, but in the meantime here are some resources for libraries in London and electronic access (for ESCP colleagues only).

British Library

Address: The British Library, 96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB

Short walk from St Pancras or Euston station

Becoming a member: go to the Reader Registration office with ID containing your address

Using the library:

  1. Log in as a “Reader Pass Holder”
  2. Enter search terms and “Add to List”
  3. Click on “Request List” in grey toolbar
  4. Request

Books will be available either in 70 mins or 48 hours, so it’s important to do this well in advance. You can choose a Reading Room (and seat number) for delivery. The BL is notoriously strict about items you can and cannot take into the Reading Rooms – go to the cloakroom in advance, and bring a few pencils.

Electronic access

  1. Log in to ESCP intranet
  2. Click on “Library” from the drop down menu

For the Financial Times go through “Factiva”: enter “FT.com” under “source”, then select “FT.com – Financial Times (available to academic subscribers)”.
