I’m still searching for the perfect library, but in the meantime here are some resources for libraries in London and electronic access (for ESCP colleagues only).
British Library
Address: The British Library, 96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB
Short walk from St Pancras or Euston station
Becoming a member: go to the Reader Registration office with ID containing your address
Using the library:
- Log in as a “Reader Pass Holder”
- Enter search terms and “Add to List”
- Click on “Request List” in grey toolbar
- Request
Books will be available either in 70 mins of 48 hours, so it’s important to do this well in advance. You can choose a Reading Room (and seat number) for delivery. The BL is notoriously strict about items you can and cannot take into the Reading Rooms – go to the cloakroom in advance, and bring a few pencils.
Electronic access
- Log in to ESCP intranet
- Click on “Library” from the drop down menu
For the Financial Times go through “Factiva”: enter “FT.com” under “source”, then select “FT.com – Financial Times (available to academic subscribers)”.
